St. Anthony’s Feast
August 25 - August 27
Summer in Boston wouldn’t be the same without the North End’s festivities for Italian saints. The St. Anthony’s Feast, celebrated in Boston since 1919 by immigrants from the small Italian town of Montefalcione, is one of the North End’s most illustrious events. Celebrate the festival by tasting food from 100 stands, including calamari, arancini, cannolis, and gelato before watching the Statue of Saint Anthony be carried through the streets of the North End on Sunday followed by colorful marching bands and floats.
