Mother’s Day in Boston
May 14 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
A time honored Mother’s Day tradition for the past 30 years, Duckling Day is the perfect way for the whole family to spend this year’s Mother’s Day. Each year, over 1,000 people parade through Boston’s most picturesque parks, led by the Harvard Marching Band and dressed like characters from Robert McCloskey’s Make Way for Ducklings. The parade begins on the Boston Common at the Parkman Bandstand and ends in the Public Garden near the famous Make Way for Ducklings sculptures. Registration is $35 per family in advance or $40 per family at the event. For more information, visit the Duckling Day website. Photo by @molliejo.
