Columbus Day Parade in North End
Boston’s Little Italy, the North End, celebrates Massachusetts’s veterans and active military with its annual Columbus Day Parade. You can expect Colonial militias, brass bands, drum and bugle corps, bagpipers and vintage cars. Fun fact: The North End actually shares the parade with East Boston; in odd number years the parade starts off in the Italian neighborhood while even numbered years sees the parade beginning in the Suffolk Downs parking lot. Grab a prime spot in City Hall Plaza for the parade’s kickoff this year. For more information, visit the Parade’s site.
